Red Poppy Advocates is a veteran organisation established in 2021. It is a movement which provides tangible support and advocacy for Australian Veterans by lodging compensation claims on their behalf for service-related injuries.
Our specialty is cutting through the red tape and navigating the complexities of DVA so veterans can focus on recovering and getting on with life in the best shape possible.
We provide Telehealth consultations with our experienced veteran doctors, psychologists and psychiatrists—ensuring you receive the expert clinical support needed to secure the maximum compensation you’re entitled to.
We support Australian veterans by preparing and lodging compensation claims for service-related injuries. Through our partnership with Allied Health Services, veterans have direct access to Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Occupational Therapists, Osteopaths and Psychologists and will receive one-on-one rehabilitation. Additionally, our collaboration with Elite Supplements Australia provides professional nutrition and dietetic support to enhance recovery and optimise overall health.

Once DVA accepts initial liability for service-related injuries, our advocates help veterans access free medical treatment with their DVA White Card while they await their compensation outcome.

DVA determines the compensation figure based on total impairment points. The veteran can choose between a lump sum or periodic payments into their nominated bank account, which may take up to five business days.

We reassess your injuries 12 months after your initial compensation payout. If your condition has deteriorated further, you may be entitled to additional compensation. If your impairment rating reaches 60 points, you are also eligible for a Veteran Gold Card.

If you’re unable to work and need financial support, you may receive payments based on your pre-injury earnings to help replace lost income.
