STEP 3
Once DVA accepts initial liability for service-related injuries, Red Poppy Advocates help veterans access free medical treatment through their DVA White Card while they await the outcome of their compensation claim.
STEP 5
DVA determine compensation based on the total impairment points. Veterans can choose to receive a lump sum or regular payments into their nominated bank account.

STEP 2
Telehealth consultation with our veteran doctor or psych for diagnosis of service-related injuries.
STEP 4
Telehealth consultation with our veteran doctor to assess the level of permanent impairment as a result of service.
STEP 6
We can reassess your injuries 12 months after your initial compensation payout. If your condition has deteriorated further, you may be entitled to additional compensation. If your impairment rating reaches 60 points, you are also eligible for a Veteran Gold Card.
